A: Be sure to arrive about 10 minutes early to fill out intake paperwork, or fill out the emailed copy before your appointment.

A: Functional Flexion is currently accepting Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Providence health Plan, Tivity, TriWest, HSA and MVA claims. We are hoping to be in network with more insurance providers soon! Check back for updates!

A: Yes! We offer a 10% discount for active duty and veteran military service members (all branches including National Guard, Coast Guard, and Paramilitary entities), and first responders (Paramedics and EMTs, Firefighters, Flight Nurses, Life Flight Pilots, Dispatchers, and Law Enforcement Officers of all kind).
Q: Does this office have after hours appointments?
A: After hours, weekend and urgent appointments are scheduled based on the therapist’s availability, and are subject to a 15% service fee.

Q: Does this office see kids?
A: Yes we do see pediatric clients, Jordan owner and lead massage therapist has several years of experience working with children with a variety of ailments that affect the muscular system. We require a parent or guardian to be present for all services for clients under the age of 18, and both the patient and parent must consent for treatment.
Q: What should I do after my massage?
A: Be sure to drink stay hydrated, don’t do anything too strenuous and take it easy for the next 24 hours.
Q: Is massage painful?
A: Parts of massage may cause temporary discomfort, but not permanent pain or injury.
Q: Is bruising normal after cupping?
A: Yes, bruising is part of the healing process and an expected result from cupping. Bruising should subside within 3-7 days generally.
Q: How often should I get a massage?
A: Many people choose to get a massage every 2-4 weeks, however this is very dependent on the person and the conditions which they are treating and the goals they want to achieve. Talk to your therapist about your treatment plan for the most beneficial recommendation.
