Deep Tissue
Our primary modality, often used in medical massage
Designed to get deeper into the muscle to provide a more therapeutic massage to rehabilitate muscular injuries and reduce pain
Recommended for generalized muscle tension and chronic pain
Swedish
Generally considered the classic spa massage
Typically full body with light to medium pressure
Not recommended for chronic pain or significant muscle injury
Sports
Similar to deep tissue in style
Designed to target the muscles used in a particular activity
Recommended for anyone who preforms repetitive motions wether from sports, hobbies, or your job
Myofascial Release
A technique that can be used in conjunction with any modality
Designed to target the connective tissue which lines the muscles to reduce scar tissue and to aid in the muscles moving more freely.
Recommended for chronic pain and tension, especially in conjuction with a deep tissue modality
Trigger Point
A technique that can be used in conjunction with any modality
Designed to target the source of generalized muscle discomfort
Recommended for people who have referred pain, especially in conjunction with myofascial release and cupping
Cupping and Scraping
Techniques that can be used in conjunction with any modality
Designed to break up scar tissue, and increase blood flow and circulation to the affected area
Recommended for areas that endure repetitive movement, areas of restriction and decreased mobility.
