Entry Level Massage Therapist
Employee Position
We are seeking entry level massage therapists to join our team in an employee role, not as a 1099 contractor. This position is designed for a motivated practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality care to clients and eager to grow within a supportive environment.
Requirements
Must be a licensed LMT in the state of Oregon (OBMT), must be a US Citizen, must be an Oregon Resident, must not have any unresolved case or disciplinary action with OBMT, must be able to stand for a period of at least one hour, must be able to lift 50 pounds, must be able to pass a drug test for substances illegal in the state of Oregon (opiates, amphetamines, acids/LSD etc) - if currently taking controlled substances please provide copy of prescription or doctors note. LMT must be able to appropriately schedule, check out, and interact with patients. LMT must adhere to HIPAA compliance, appropriate documentation standards and all rules, statutes and regulations set by the OBMT and OHA.
Training and Probation
The training and orientation period will last 90 days from start date. During this period the employees salary will reflect training rate. Upon completion of this period employees will begin the probationary period of 9 months and pay rate will increase from training rate to entry level rate DOE. The training and probation process will last for a total of 1 year from start date.
Salary
Employee to start at training wage of $20 hourly base rate and $25 commission per hour massage. Steps with associated pay raises available after completion of training period.

Employees may be drug and alcohol tested if showing signs of impairment on the job, zero tolerance for intoxication in the workplace
Schedule flexibility available dependent on the office needs, we are currently a M-F office but may be open to weekends in the future
Basic Job duties
Provide High Quality Care
Keep up on standard of care
Maintain patient records and SOAP notes for billing with compliance to HIPAA
Attend mandatory trainings (employees paid at base rate for attendance)
Basic intake, payment, and scheduling of patients
Reschedule patients after massage (admin staff to facilitate initial scheduling)
Maintain Massage Room
Laundry — including sheets and towels as needed
Assist with basic office duties and tasks as needed
